Why Choose Me?

I think it’s practically impossible for me to clearly articulate what it is about photographing horses that I am so drawn to. I spent my three years in photo school doing nothing but equine photography for all my final projects and my senior portfolio. I was clueless to what I would do with a large equine portfolio after graduation. However, ten years later, I awakened to the plain and simple fact that I deeply love photographing horses and the people who love them.

Although I’m an equine-focused photographer, I still photograph any kind of animal and their people. I have over 20 years experience working in a variety of animal career fields before I became a full time photographer, and I am the most comfortable working with and among animals. My work has been featured in Rangefinder Magazine, multiple photography blogs and I was recently named one of Chicago’s Best Pet Photographers.
